Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter presents The Harlem Renaissance Parade of Books: For the Love of Art, Music and Literature!

St. Stephen’s Episcopal School students and staff will welcome guest readers from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Sigma Omega Chapter during the 23rd African American Read-In. All books shared with students will highlight the artistic, literary, and musical contributions of Harlem Renaissance artists. Students will learn about and explore the significant contributions of African American influencers Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald, Langston Hughes, Florence Mills, Arturo Schomburg, among many others.
