Race for Education

JOIN THE ST. STEPHEN’S EPISCOPAL SCHOOL BOARD OF DIRECTORS

During the Race for Education participants will walk, jog, skip, or run as many quarter-mile laps as possible in a one-hour period (thirty minutes for the younger students in Preschool – Kindergarten). Each student will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax-deductible donation to St. Stephen’s Episcopal School. Every participant’s effort levels will be recognized with fun certificates, trophies, and prizes for individuals, classes, and school.

PLEASE HELP US REACH OUR GOAL OF $36,500!

The funds raised by the Race for Education are vital to the operating budget of our school and allows us to enhance our curriculum, maintain the diverse programs we offer, and pay for the additional, often unforeseen expenses that occur. We are asking for each student, teacher, and staff member to recruit 10 sponsors. If everyone participates we will reach our goal of $36,500 together!

THE SUCCESS OF THIS EVENT IS DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE COOPERATION AND ENTHUSIASM OF THE ENTIRE ST. STEPHEN’S COMMUNITY. EVERYONE IS INVITED TO COME OUT AND SHARE THE DAY! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Bloomz for the Race Schedule.

Sponsor an individual student or sponsor the entire school by clicking on the link below.  PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE INDIVIDUAL STUDENT OR STAFF MEMBER IN THE “Message” LINE ON PAYPAL OR NOTE “General Donation”.  Thanks in advance for your support!

You may also mail a check made payable to St. Stephen’s Episcopal School to 215 North Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101. Please include the participant’s name and R4E on the memo line.

We are excited to see if we can top our record from 2004 of $36,131. We know we can achieve our goal with your cooperation and commitment. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us regarding the event!

Please contact the Race co-chairs for more information about corporate sponsorship.
